Microsoft has today announced the rollout of a new Windows 10 IoT Core sample application in the form of "Network 3D Printer" that as the name suggests adds support to access 3D printers over a network. Making it easy to upload objects from anywhere your network is accessible.
The Windows 10 IoT is available to use with the awesome Raspberry Pi mini PC and can be downloaded directly from the Microsoft Windows 10 developer centre. Microsoft explains a little more about what exactly the windows 10 IoT Core is.
Windows 10 IoT Core is a version of Windows 10 that is optimized for smaller devices with or without a display, and that runs on the Raspberry Pi 2 and 3, Arrow DragonBoard 410c & MinnowBoard MAX. Windows 10 IoT Core utilizes the rich, extensible Universal Windows Platform (UWP) API for building great solutions.
