[NOISE] Maybe you've thought about 3D printing and never gotten the courage to dive in and figure it out. Mattel's Thingmaker, a collaboration with Autodesk, aims to be a mainstream family friendly 3D printer to break down those barriers. The brand name is a reboot of an old 60's kit that used metal molds to bake your own rubbery creatures. This thing maker is a lot more advanced, and it's made for adults. It's a $300 printer that melts hot reels of plastic and takes hours to build its creations. But, it also interfaces with an Android and IOS Thingmaker app to let kids design their own creations while grownups do the printing. The sample of printed creations we saw at toy fair looked really good. Thingmaker arrives this Fall.
